I was talking to some members recently about protein intake, and it seems a lot of people are just guessing at how much protein they eat.  Most people think they eat a lot of protein, but when its all added up, it typically falls well short of what is necessary.  If you are doing CrossFit workouts, you should be eating AT LEAST 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.  This is the minimum, more protein would be better.  I challenge every person who checks this post to add up their protein intake for Thursday.  Add animal protein only – plant sources do not count.  At the end of the day, post it to the site, and lets see how we’re doing.  Just be honest with yourself about it – cheating on something like this is as dumb as cheating on a wod just to write a better time on the board.  Also, make sure you post your body weight along with how much protein you ate.
